As a Health Coach you will also introduce your Clients to Dr. A’s Habits of Health System, which contains everything they need to replace poor eating and other lifestyle habits you might have developed with healthy ones that will contribute to their long-term success. By making small, consistent changes in habits, they can learn to sustain their results for life.
The Habits of Health System lays the groundwork for your Client’s long-term success. The system was created by Take Shape for Life®’s Co-Founder, Dr. Wayne S. Taking charge of our own health starts with making choices about which foods we put into our bodies. In these modern times we have easy access to foods that are very high in fat, sugar and calories, and we don’t have to expend very much energy, if any at all, to prepare them. As a result, we consume far too many calories each day, which is the primary factor leading to our nation’s obesity problem.
Healthy eating habits begin with paying attention to the quality of the food we consume, as well as the amount. We should be eating small portions at regular intervals (every three hours is best). The foods should be healthy proteins, healthy fats and oils and low-glycemic carbohydrates.
